Start and start groups

Start

Start area is at the event center, close to Dipoli, on Luolamiehentie.  

You should be at the start area not later than 15 minutes prior to the start of your start group.

Start schedule

Preliminary 2024 start times (They will be confirmed late august2024):

9:30 – 10:00 Children's Minimarathon

11:00 Marathon

11:15  Ranta 10 K / Aalto-10 start

11:30  Ranta 5 K / Aalto-5 / Aalto Walk start 

13:15 Half marathon 

Finish

Finish area will be at the Otaniemi sports field. Every runner finishing will get a Rantamaraton medal. After the finish there will be a variety of drinks and snacks available. 

Please note: The finishing area will be open only for runners and race officials.

On marathon and half marathon select your start point at the start area according to your own expected finishing time - there will be signs for each groups marked as 2:30h, 3:00h etc..
